Download the latest release of Datamine Discover with MapInfo

The latest release is available for all customers with a current annual maintenance contract, and includes improvements to LiDAR data display, easier database links, and Bing imagery for 2026.

Bug fixes are also included as detailed here

To avoid installation problems, we advise the following action for update:

1. Backup your custom folders as recommended here:

The new licensing model adds to Datamine's subscription-based services, which already includes Discover for ArcGIS Pro .

Subscription software simplifies annual expenditure forecasting, and enables you to increase your software count for temporarily intensified workloads and exploration projects.

MapInfo 2019 available for MapInfo-only users

MapInfo 2019.3 is now available for download for all maintained MapInfo-only users.

v2019.3 will give you renewed access to online services such as the MapInfo Marketplace.

Older versions of the software will now tell you that you are not online, or not logged in, so do update if you are on maintenance.

v2019.2 is a MapInfo-only patch available for MapInfo 2019.1. This is a PATCH and requires v2019.1 to be installed.

GeoMaps is a new web service brought to you as part of your MapInfo- or Datamine Discover maintenance contract.

Based on Open Street Map, GeoMaps is a global street map service included in MapInfo v17.0.2. Update now to make use of this.

To make use of the GeoMap service in the Open > Basemap section, you will be prompted to log into your Pitney Bowes account. If you don't have an account you can set one up for free when propted, or by clicking the link below for more information about GeoMap.

Bing backdrops stopped working in January?

On 31 December 2018, Bing maps ceased to work with older versions of MapInfo and Datamine Discover.

Either upgrade your installation to the latest release (MapInfo v17 or Datamine Discover v2017 Updated), or contact us for your 2019 Bing patch.
